Promotion guidance

**ALL PROMO's**
- Never ask or advise that you are ready for a promo. this is a clear indication that you are not ready.
- Stay active on server and forums. how can we see you being ready if no one ever see's you.
- do set positive examples for all other members, either higher or lower in rank
- remember, Rank and Promo

MA ---> MH
- Display the positive values expected by the clan.
- Do remain friendly and approachable to none members or less experienced players of the game.
- be able to assist over worked admins in a way they request if you are able to.

MH ---> ME
- Display the positive values expected by the clan.
- Do remain friendly and approachable to non-members or less experienced players of the game.
- be able to assist over worked admins in a way they request if you are able to.
- Show your knowledge of the rules and the basic guidelines for punishing rulebreakers, so that we know you know how to handle situations when you are admin.
- Be able to assist at busy times as temp lv 1 admin can be given out in extreme cases.
- Do not pester for stuff from Admin, spawns, emp ect.

ME ---> MS
- Display the positive values expected by the clan.
- Do remain friendly and approachable to non-members or less experienced players of the game.
- be able to assist over worked admins in a way they request if you are able to.
- You have shown that you understand the guidlines for being and admin. You are now being considered to become a 2nd level admin.

MS --> MM
- Display the positive values expected by the clan.
- Do remain friendly and approachable to none members or less experienced players of the game.
- Show that you use your lvl 1 admin well (you do not abuse, etc.)
- Display a level of maturity that indicates you are ready to take on more responsibility. Irritating others and such behavior will show that you are not ready.
- Show that you know the guidelines for lvl 2 admin, particularly changing maps and merc/emp, and show that you will follow these rules and use such powers wisely.

MM ---> CP

- follow the guidelines for map changing and game type changing. keep it within the assigned days for these kinds of sessions

From This point on the Promo's are highly rare and potential candidates are heavilly scrutinised. therefore for all of these you must display a keen sense of all that has gone before but now are a few specific things to observe.

CR ---> UB
- Show the discression needed to effectivly use the high level 3 admin commands
- be able to deal with rule breakers effectivly and in a suitable way
- Begin to advise and assist a Boss and Godfather in methods concerning promotions, or other members who are not displaying the clan values
- begin to assist newer members and admin with things that can cause their problems.
- can run a fun enviorment alone effectivly.. (a lot harder then it sounds at busy times)

UB ---> CG
- Takes an active role is assisting and advising on promo's and other members who may have been issues
- Able to use the lv3 admin correctly without abuse (or crashing the server)
- shows that they have the best interests of JM at heart and their activities are for the good of the clan without causing conflict from others

For promo's to Boss there is no single perscription or advise we can give. Promo's to Boss are from an overall discussion between Godfathers but by following advise it will put you in good stead when the time comes.

Maturity
This is the ability to make clear decisions, and make them in a short amount of time. It means that you can be trusted when higher ranking members are not watching. You know how to handle situations and communicate with others.

Maturity becomes an extreme factor when u are eligable to become a Made Man (aka second level admin). In Mob terms, it means u have proven yourself to a full extent, and i like to look at it this way for our family too.

Activeness
How much you play. This means u dont have to play alot, but being active lets us judge the previous factors more qucikly and accurately.

On a side note, as you get higher, promo's come less frequently. At Made Man, you are really being evaluated closely for the next level. At Underboss and then Consigliere, you might not move up for a long time, just ask the people who are at those ranks. Boss is a true honor, since you get a council vote. Note again that Trog was the second only to become boss, and Snake was the only person to be promoted to Godfather, since me and manic started the clan.
